The Sandy Rentals Consignment Program offers individuals and designers the opportunity to place their dresses within our hire collection.

Consignment allows your garment to be professionally presented, carefully maintained, and offered for hire through our studio and online. Each piece is selected with intention to ensure it aligns with the Sandy Rentals aesthetic and meets our quality standards.

We take a considered approach to growth, and consignment allows us to expand our collection thoughtfully while continuing to offer our clients unique, event-ready pieces.

HOW IT WORKS?

  • Please complete the submission form to the left!

    Our team will carefully review your application, assessing whether or not your garment is a good fit for our collection, and be in contact with further information.

  • Everything!

    We photograph and market the garment across our social media platforms, uploading the garment to our website for clients to view details & availability.

    We store consignment garments in our studio, located in Moorabbin, on showcase with the rest of our collection (available for anyone to try on).

    We take care of all booking fulfillments, payments, hire preparations, returns, cleaning, alterations etc.

  • Our consignment program runs at a 40/60 percent split, allowing for you to earn super easy money on the side, without doing any work!

    Payments are made monthly, via direct deposit into your bank account, along with a monthly report of all bookings.

  • Damages to garments occur often. Whilst we will do everything in our power to maintain your garment in the best condition possible, general wear & tear is to be expected. Sandy Rentals is not liable for any damages.

    We do not recommend hiring out a garment that holds high sentimental value.

    In cases where the garment required repairs/alteratos, you will be notified. These costs are covered by the rental client (not you).

  • You’re welcome to borrow the garment whenever you would like, provided there are no pre existing bookings for the same dates.

    You are also welcome to remove your garment from our consignment program at any time, provided there are no future pre existing bookings.

  • Prior to the garment being listed on our website & social media platforms, it must be either delivered (via aus post) or dropped off to our studio in Moorabbin!

  • We sometimes participate in giveaways. If your garment is selected for a giveaway, please note that no payment will be provided for that particular hire period.

    We select garments that align with Sandy Rental’s aesthetic and meet current demand. Only unique, high-quality items that complement our curated collection will be accepted. 

    If after 3 months, the garment has not received any hire bookings, it will be removed from our consigment program.

    Once we’ve accepted your garment into our consigment program, you will be sent details regardsing next steps, as well as Terms & Conditions (of which will need to be signed)
